Manufacturing Engineer (Automation / Digitalisation) | Up to $6,500 | #HBY

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: Changi (Onsite)
Department: Manufacturing Engineering – Sterilization, Resilia & Packaging
Salary: Up to $6,500/month
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Key responsibilities

• Support manufacturing automation, digitalisation and process improvement projects

• Design and improve manufacturing equipment, tools, fixtures and production processes

• Develop software solutions and provide technical support for coding and automation projects

• Assist in gathering validation data, conducting engineering tests and preparing technical reports

• Apply programming tools such as Python, Power BI and other languages to improve manufacturing efficiency

• Support troubleshooting of automated equipment and implementation of new technologies

• Prepare technical documentation, work instructions and training materials

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve operational performance

• Explore AI, robotics and Industry 4.0 technologies for manufacturing applications

About you

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related scientific discipline

• Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, digitalisation or software development is advantageous

• Knowledge of Python, Power BI or other programming languages

• Knowledge of C# or C programming would be an advantage

• Understanding of automated equipment, robotics, industrial automation or equipment troubleshooting is preferred

• Exposure to AI, machine learning, Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing projects would be beneficial

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
