Occupational Therapist (Healthcare/ Office Hours, Medical Sector)

Our client, a public health organization is currently looking for an Occupational Therapist.

Job description :

• Provide training for safe handling of patients, medical equipment and alarm conditions for porters in hospital setting. Educate porters to facilitate skills in areas of occupation as well as health maintenance and safety.
• Training including but not limited to transferring patients, lifting technic, assist in activities of daily living, directing aids etc.
• Evaluate the workspace/environment, recommend modifications, and ensure safe portering service.
• Develops occupational therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs.
• Undertaking general administrative tasks, for example writing reports, developing  training records, participate in facility operation needs etc.
• Provides targeted, evidence-based intervention to facilitate porters’ participation and occupational performance within the healthcare environment.

Requirement:

• Min Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Therapy. Min 2 years clinical experience is needed.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to learn, positive and customer service orientated.
• Preferably with industrial knowledge in Work, Health and Safety.
