6 Months Contract – KYC Specialist

Our client, a leading commodities trading company, is seeking a KYC Specialist to join its Treasury team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing corporate KYC requirements, supporting bank account onboarding, maintaining authorized signatory records, and coordinating documentation with banks and internal stakeholders.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Corporate KYC, Treasury Operations, Banking Operations, or Corporate Banking, who are comfortable managing KYC requirements across multiple legal entities and banking partners.
Key Responsibilities
Bank Onboarding & Relationship Support
- Coordinate end-to-end bank account opening and onboarding processes for the company's legal entities.
- Review bank onboarding checklists and identify applicable documentation requirements.
- Liaise directly with bank operations and compliance teams on KYC and account onboarding matters.
- Track onboarding progress and proactively follow up to resolve documentation gaps and outstanding requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of bank onboarding activities in accordance with internal and bank requirements.
Corporate KYC Management
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date corporate KYC documentation for all legal entities.
- Monitor document expiry dates and coordinate timely renewals with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Support the ongoing review and maintenance of corporate KYC records across multiple banking relationships.
- Ensure KYC information remains consistent and accurate across bank records and internal databases.
Authorized Signatory Management
- Coordinate the addition and removal of authorized signatories and updates to bank mandates.
- Liaise with Corporate Secretarial teams, banks, and relevant internal stakeholders to facilitate mandate changes.
- Ensure all supporting documentation is accurately completed, reviewed, and submitted to banking partners.
- Maintain accurate records of authorized signatories and bank mandates.
Documentation Governance
- Maintain a centralized and well-organized repository of corporate and signatory KYC documentation.
- Ensure documents are current, complete, properly filed, and accessible to authorized users.
- Support the use of digital KYC platforms and fulfil document mapping requirements across various banking partners.
- Identify documentation gaps and follow up with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
Compliance & Due Diligence
- Review and respond to KYC and compliance-related requests received from banking partners.
- Prepare standardized responses and supporting documentation for routine bank compliance requests.
- Escalate complex or non-standard information requests to Treasury management when necessary.
- Ensure responses and documentation provided to banks are accurate, complete, and aligned with internal requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Corporate KYC, Treasury Operations, Banking Operations, Corporate Banking, or a related function.
- Experience managing corporate KYC requirements for multinational corporations and working with multiple banking partners.
- Good understanding of corporate banking KYC and account onboarding requirements.
- Experience working with bank operations and compliance teams is highly advantageous.
- Candidates with experience in Treasury or banking-related environments are preferred.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking KYC requirements and documentation processes.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with banks and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding requests, document renewals, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
