Perm Nursing Aide (Healthcare Assistant) - Day Care Centre

Working Hours: Mon – Fri (8am to 5pm)

Salary: $2200 - $3000

Location: Chinatown

Job Description:

* Assist in monitoring vital signs and serving of oral and topical medications and oral feeding as applicable.

* Assist in basic physiological monitoring

* Assist in ADL needs in the centre (e.g. toileting, feeding, changing)

* Perform planned nursing interventions and assist trained nurse in medical emergency or crisis situations.

* To conduct daily maintenance therapy exercises in adherence to the Occupational Therapist's/ Physiotherapist's recommendations.

* Educate clients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions as instructed by therapists.

* To ensure safety of clients in the centre and while escorting clients to and from their homes to the centre according to guidelines and policy.

Requirements:

• Min 1 year healthcare assistant experience
