Pharmacy Technician [Compounding Lab / Inpatient / Outpatient] #HZT

About the role

Support pharmacists in the safe, accurate and timely preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications. Perform pharmacy operations, inventory management and patient service duties in accordance with established policies, procedures and medication safety standards. The incumbent may be deployed across inpatient, outpatient, automation, inventory management and compounding services based on operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Process medication orders accurately and efficiently.

• Pick, pack, label and dispense medications in accordance with departmental policies and SOPs.

• Perform prescription processing, billing and medication preparation activities.

• Assist pharmacists in the safe and timely supply of medications to patients.

• Process inpatient medication and nurse request orders.

• Support medication distribution and ward stock replenishment activities.

• Assist pharmacists in medication reconciliation, patient counselling and other clinical support activities where applicable.

• Liaise with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care.

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through stock replenishment, receiving, storage and stock counts.

• Operate pharmacy automation and repackaging systems in accordance with established procedures.

About you

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science; or Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC).

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Customer service-oriented with a patient-centric mindset.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good organisational and time management skills.
