Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate prototype builds to meet project milestones, delivery requirements, and customer schedules.
- Develop and maintain prototype build schedules, tracking key milestones and identifying potential delays or risks early.
- Coordinate with site/factory teams to monitor and ensure readiness
- Work closely with factory engineering teams to clarify technical changes, resolve discrepancies, and ensure effective implementation of engineering changes.
- Conduct regular prototype readiness reviews and highlight gaps, risks and required actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide daily/ periodic project status reports, including build progress, material readiness, key issues, risks, recovery actions, and overall schedule status.
- Identify recurring issues and continuous improvement opportunities arising from prototype builds and follow through on improvement actions.
- Maintain appropriate project documentation, build records, issue logs, action trackers and change records.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, NPI, prototype development, manufacturing engineering, or project coordination.
- Hands-on experience with BOM management
- Require to travel to overseas around 5 times a year
